@aldostools I think that he wants to play PS2 games from an external HDD on PS2, not on PS3.
Anyway link to an answer is once again in post #2.

So it's the same as a flash drive? I format the external hard drive as FAT32 and then copy games to it?

I know what removable drives are..., can you just tell me how do I setup the external hard drive to play games on the PS2? Or you can send me a video tutorial

You just do not understand what removable drives means...

The info jolek linked to in #2 tells you, where which type of ISOs go.
Files over 4GB need to be splitted with (for example) USB-Util.
